GROW helps women increase availability, access and utilization of a variety of appropriate and nutritious food through strengthening production and market linkages, increasing diversification in production, and creating nutrition awareness. The project works in eight districts of the Upper West Region and is at the mid-way point in a six-year lifespan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0 Monitoring And Evaluation Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for rolling out the M&amp;E plan, effective and efficient planning and\u00a0implementation of all related activities of the M&amp;E unit with partners and GROW staff; conducting evaluative activity including surveys, case studies and MSC methodology, and providing timely and relevant information to key stakeholders. This position is based in Tamale, Ghana with regular travel to the Upper West Region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with partners and GROW team to ensure smooth functioning and delivery of desired M&amp;E tasks and results in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate on the tools and mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation and information management<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and guidance in the preparation of the weekly, quarterly and annual reports, ensuring quality and timeliness.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Country Project Manager and the Project Specialists in the preparation of annual work plans<\/li>\n<li>Roll out the implementation of the M&amp;E system for GROW Project and its implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Ensure MEDA\u2019s compliance in meeting donor reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure evaluative systems gender and environment factors as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain proactive contact with relevant stakeholders including KFPs, donors, government bodies, and local organizations<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as assigned by the Country Program Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s level education desired, preferably in social sciences, economics, business and\/or international development or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors in a similar field required.<\/li>\n<li>Five years\u2019 experience in monitoring and evaluation or business analysis, within an INGO or private sector<\/li>\n<li>Experience in women\u2019s programming and\/or economic desirable<\/li>\n<li>Strong familiarity with donor (specifically Global Affairs Canada) regulations and reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Strong English communication skills, with specific emphasis on writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated familiarity with various M&amp;E tools, including MS Excel and mobile data collection experience, especially with iFormbuilder or a similar platform<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking, detail oriented and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in culturally diverse settings<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards<\/li>\n<li>Excels at operating in a complex, fast paced, results-driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Appreciation and support of MEDA\u2019s faith, values and goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should apply with their CV and Cover Letter, to <strong>grow@meda.org<\/strong> by <strong>23th November, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Qualified Ghana nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MEDA\u2019s project, Greater Rural Opportunities (GROW), seeks to improve food security for 20,000 families in northern Ghana.
