\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Exercises control over expenditure in line with the college’s budgets;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Has the duty of preparing the annual budget of the college for to the appropriate governing body for approval and implementation;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensuring that the financial statements of the college are drawn up in accordance with the law establishing the college, the Statutes, applicable accounting standards and all other regulations approved
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 by the college as well as all other relevant national laws; and liaises with auditors to get the college’s financial statements audited.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should have served as a Deputy Finance Officer in a college of education or comparable grade in a similar institution for at least four (4) years<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Possess hands-on ability to work independently;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Be a good team player;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Possess strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting software;
