Suitably qualified persons are invited to apply for the underlisted positions in policy research and analysis. Preference will be given to applicants with good drafting and communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Researcher will report to the Directorate and will be responsible for delivering outputs on assignments to him\/her directly or in the role of team leader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The applicant should possess a minimum of a Master&#8217;s degree in Economics, Finance, or Statistics and at least five years relevant work experience<br \/>\nGood research skills and ability to identify relevant information<br \/>\nComputer literate with knowledge of quantitative (statistical and econometric) techniques and software packages and ability to learn using new software prackages (including Excel, SPSS and\/or econometric packages such as PcGive, Eviews, or RATS)<br \/>\nA demonstrable understanding of mainstream macroeconomic and microeconomic theory<br \/>\nPlanning and organisational skills.
