Our client, a leading multi-national company in the food and beverage industry requires seasoned high flyers capable of surmounting challenges to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n
Manage, develop, motivate and lead a team of field sales representatives Merchandisers so that defined levels of service quality to trade accounts are achieved in the most professional and cost-effective way
\nMust set and monitor clear performance objectives for all team members and ensure they are achieved by training and developing a professional, highly skilled and motivated team
\nCo-ordinate the teams calling itineraries and frequency of account contact to meet standards of service and coverage requirements including delivering profit and volumein a given sales territory
\nMust interpret and analyse information in respect of account, consumer and competitor activity
\nMust ensure there is effective completion of the areas administration including, maintenance of account records, calling itineraries, special reports and each individual’s personal expenses
\nShould monitor, control and export expenditure against all financial budgets assigned to the area
\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n
Must have a good University degree. A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
\nA minimum of 5 years sales experience in food and beverage or FMCG company, personality and ability to drive business growth
\nTechnical\/Professional: Sales and business management, Trade channel management, Marketing approach to sales
\nMust have excellent computer proficiency, People management, Forecasting and Planning, good interpersonal and communication skills
\nShould demonstrate a successful track record in terms of market share capture, market penetration, brand building, customer service and satisfaction, and volume growth
\nIdeally able to demonstrate successes in leading, building and developing a team
