Persol is also rapidly becoming the provider of choice for enterprise-grade security and surveillance solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Developer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysing user requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Researching, designing and writing new software programs;<\/li>\n<li>Testing new programs and fault finding;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating the software and systems that make computers and hardware work;<\/li>\n<li>Developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification;<\/li>\n<li>Integrating existing software products and getting incompatible platforms to work together;<\/li>\n<li>Creating technical specifications and test plans;<\/li>\n<li>Writing and testing code and then refining and rewriting as necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Writing systems to control the scheduling of jobs on a mainframe computer or to control the access allowed to users or remote systems;<\/li>\n<li>Writing operational documentation with technical authors;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects;<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, UX designers, other developers, systems analysts and sales and marketing professionals;<\/li>\n<li>Consulting clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems with a view to writing or modifying current operating systems;<\/li>\n<li>Investigating new technologies;<\/li>\n<li>Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Qualification and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a First Degree in Computer Science\/Mathematics &amp; Statistics\/Equivalent professional qualification<\/li>\n<li>At least 3-5 years working experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English (writing &amp; speaking)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in French (writing &amp; speaking) for business<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work without supervision<\/li>\n<li>Adaptable to change<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new technologies quickly<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation skills Report writing skills are essential<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal relationship i.e ability to relate well with all manner of persons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Web Development Experience with some of the following tools:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HTML5<\/li>\n<li>JavaScript \u2013 Angular, XS, Node, Knockout<\/li>\n<li>CSS<\/li>\n<li>Visual Studios<\/li>\n<li>Android Studio<\/li>\n<li>C++, Java<\/li>\n<li>SAP Crystal reports<\/li>\n<li>MS SQL Server 2012 or Higher<\/li>\n<li>MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)<\/li>\n<li>Data, JSON<\/li>\n<li>Micro Services<\/li>\n<li>Web Security \u2013 oAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect<\/li>\n<li>MS Entity Framework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Persol is Ghana\u2019s premier software development, systems integration and IT consulting firm.
