\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Also responsible for minimization of secondary breakage and over break and correct installation of ground support systems in accordance with geo-technical plans.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Drilling of blast holes required for safe and efficient underground development to proceed
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Install all ground support and drill cable bolt hole, decline etc
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work without supervision to complete technical activities for the department and ensure accurate and timely completion of activities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with maintenance personnel on scheduled service days to ensure all faults and defects are highlighted and where possible rectified
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Take appropriate actions in the case of an emergency
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety, confidentiality and environmental policies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Report any environmental incidents as soon as possible and assist as directed in all clean up and containment activities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to at all sides
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Respond to complex technical problems, making decisions that are guided by policies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prioritise and schedule work that is requested by the department<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 5 to 8 years of working experience as a Jumbo Operator.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent knowledge and experience with Sandvik Axera Twin boom jumbos
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A Ghanaian currently employed in an underground operation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to read and understand designed ground support plans
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge of Jumbo rigs
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work with others in a multicultural environment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Good analytical and organisational skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A valid Ghanaian Driving license (C and E)<\/p>\n
