We strive to develop innovative, flexible, scalable and stable solutions that exceed industry standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Global Technical IT Support Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Position is located in Ghana and reports to the Local Support Team Lead<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate with customers via ticketing system, chat sessions or email;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer satisfaction;<\/li>\n<li>Provide efficient and accurate technical assistance;<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Level 2 system administrators and Development Implementation Team;<\/li>\n<li>Perform standard deployments and updates;<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with PMs, coordinates and\/or provide the customer user induction training;<\/li>\n<li>Perform technical configuration in the client environment (files configurations: setup of ports, connections, as well as the execution of predefined &amp; verified scripts);<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with customer IT personnel and our Level 2 system &amp; network administrators the proper environment and networking setup;<\/li>\n<li>Write and maintain User &amp; Administration Guides;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in updating the knowledge base articles and propose ideas for new technical articles;<\/li>\n<li>Occasional travel abroad, as needed;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree<\/li>\n<li>2+ years relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills &amp; strong customer focus<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work efficiently and calmly to resolve technical issues<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn fast and to cope with fast changing environments<\/li>\n<li>Desire to learn new things and perform technology research &amp; troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The following will be an advantage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience and knowledge in SQL or other database querying language<\/li>\n<li>Atlassian JIRA Service Desk experience<\/li>\n<li>General understanding of business functions and banking\/MFI industry specifics<\/li>\n<li>B2 or higher level in English<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in team<\/li>\n<li>Results-oriented and effective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply for this job, send your CVs to To apply for this job, send your CVs to: <strong>zenabu.torsu@softwaregroup-bg.com<\/strong> and <strong>mike.quaye@softwaregroup-bg.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Software Group is a global technology company focused on end-to-end solutions for the financial sector.
