{"id":20547,"date":"2016-11-29T13:08:32","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T13:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=20547"},"modified":"2016-11-29T13:08:32","modified_gmt":"2016-11-29T13:08:32","slug":"diocesan-health-service-head-internal-audits-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/diocesan-health-service-head-internal-audits-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Diocesan Health Service: Head Of Internal Audits (2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Diocesan Health Service (DHS) of the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua within the National Catholic Health Service (NCHS) and the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) networks wishes to announce the following vacancy as scheduled below<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head Of Internal Audit (2 Positions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities\/Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre and post-audits payment vouchers with their supporting documents to ensure that funds are spent for the intended purposes and that all acquittals have been done<\/li>\n<li>Carries out risk assessment and reviews the Internal Control Systems (ICS) by management<\/li>\n<li>Monitors the effectiveness of the ICSs and advises management on strengths and weaknesses of the practices<\/li>\n<li>Be an observer at cash counting and periodic stock and inventory taking sessions<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with external auditors to resolve all outstanding external audit observations<\/li>\n<li>Serves as a co-opted member of the Audit Report Implementation Committee (ARIC) of the health facility<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and submits quarterly, biannually and annual internal audit reports to the Board and local management indicating the Condition, Criteria, Cause, Effect and Recommendations etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:\u00a0<\/strong>National Catholic Health Service Conditions of Service<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of good bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting or auditing acquired from an internationally recognized institution and\/or equivalent qualifications with ICAG (Part III) or ACCA (Part II).<\/li>\n<li>A master\u2019s degree in accounting or auditing from a recognized institution is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant must also have practical knowledge and skills of using computer-based accounting systems and strengthening internal control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably at least Five (5) years of practicing as an auditor and\/or accountant in the health sector.
