The objective of the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) is to establish local institutional capacity to support Ghanaian entrepreneurs and new ventures involved in developing profitable and locally-appropriate solutions to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The selected candidate will be a member of the GCIC executive committee and report directly to the GCIC\u2019s Executive Director.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitates the integration of all admissions to the GCIC.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manages resources and access to resources for GCIC entrepreneurs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinates marketing and outreach strategies.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures top level technical facilities are available to GCIC entrepreneurs including prototyping and lean manufacturing machinery and software.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Serves as an effective interface between internal and external stakeholders
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitates collaborations across functions and competing interests.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participates in access to finance modalities in support of GCIC entrepreneurs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Co-ordinates idea and early stage business advisory.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures adherence to product development plans.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Project manages GCIC entrepreneurs towards exit from GCIC.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Supports GCIC entrepreneurs to concertize business plans.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 5-10 years of experience in strategic business advisory, management of business incubation or acceleration programs
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience teaching entrepreneurship or the Lean Launchpad strongly preferred.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Discipline-specific experience preferred; such as technology transfer, research commercialization or technology development.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to represent the GCIC in local and international forums, interact with leading thinkers and actors in clean technology ecosystems locally and globally.

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven ability to plan and execute programs efficiently in accordance to budget allocations
