The objective of the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) is to establish local institutional capacity to support Ghanaian entrepreneurs and new ventures involved in developing profitable and locally-appropriate solutions to climate change mitigation and adaptation. \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Designs and implements appropriate financing tools for GCIC and its clients
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Designs appropriate financial due diligence procedures for clients\u2019 projects and performs financial assessment of projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manages financial monitoring and reporting
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Over-sees travel arrangements and monitors travel expenditures
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures compliance with internal policies, donors and investors\u2019 requirements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with month-end and year-end close; and annual audit
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepares and assists with other account reconciliations as requested by the Finance Director.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of 8 to 10 years\u2019 progressive finance experience
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Previous experience in managing relations with investors<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Fluent English with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent Excel skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong organizational and leadership skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Team player and fast learner comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient with Microsoft Office 2016 (Office 365) products.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to set and meet deadlines consistently<\/p>\n
