The Assistant Academic Registrar reports to the Provost and the Associate Registrar (Academic Records). The position requires at least 5 years of experience in higher education and at least 1 year experience working in or with an academic registry office. The Assistant Academic Registrar must have a deep understanding of academic issues, especially as pertains to students\u2019 degree programmes and requirements, and experience working with students. The Assistant Academic Registrar must have an impeccable attention to detail, the ability to work independently to solve complex and subtle problems, the desire to help students, excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills. A strong sense of confidentiality and ethics is vital to this position.<\/p>\n
