\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide technical support and advice on matters relating risk management and insurance of oil and gas related risks
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Carry out all administrative work necessary for the proper functioning of the organisation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Board
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide strategic leadership to ensure skills development of staff
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain a strong linkage with relevant regulatory bodies and stakeholders for the smooth operation of the business
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that board directives and corporate strategies are successfully implemented
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Arrange the most appropriate reinsurance programme with the approval of the board
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Perform other functions as the board may assign<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 ACII or relevant professional qualification from a recognised institution
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in technical insurance, 2 years of which must be in managerial positions<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Good interpersonal, communication and management skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Confident and assertive, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven competence in Upstream\/offshore oil and gas (operations, risk assessment, pricing issues in the international insurance markets, interpretation of relevant policy wording\/endorsements, claims handling, and reinsurance) will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
