Directly and through\u00a0subsidiaries, it also has a major role in mobile devices and\u00a0cable TV and\u00a0IPTV systems.<\/p>\n<p>Ericsson Kenya has current job opening and is seeking for a Subject Matter Expert for Mobile Broadband-00026136<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Main purpose is to support and drive\u00a0end-to-end sales of the\u00a0Ericsson products and services portfolio. This is done by providing specialist sales knowledge, implementing\u00a0end-to-end product and services strategies and programs and\u00a0driving market requirements to grow the overall business within\u00a0RSSA,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sell competitive product \/ services solutions through a consultative approach, focusing on customer needs, involving one or a set of products \/ services for one or many accounts,<\/li>\n<li>Find new products and solutions and introduce them in the market area with the goal of increasing Ericsson revenue and profitability,<\/li>\n<li>Significantly contribute to the global building of Practice assets, including development and re-use of offerings, processes, methods and tools, and best practice sharing,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pro-actively support our customers and accounts to win new business.<\/li>\n<li>Support our Key Accounts with Specialist Sales knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the MBB targets and strategies in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Secure that the MBB portfolio is locally adapted and supported in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Business Intelligence analysis and counter tactics on competitor behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge Management: Capture innovation, best practices and re-use.<\/li>\n<li>Act as CSR (product and services solution) on large projects if required.<\/li>\n<li>Track performance of installed product base and evaluate expansion and upgrade opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Support Core 3 and Engagement Practice Area with Commercial Support such as TCO, business model development, pricing models and customer trials.<\/li>\n<li>Product configuration, Solution and Statement of Compliance for proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Build long term customer relationships and position Ericsson as a business partner.<\/li>\n<li>Support the engagement consultants in developing the value propositions for engagements with customers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategy, business plan and forecast for product\/services introduction into the region.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct technical marketing with value propositions within the product\/services area, by doing technical presentations and arranging product seminars for the customer and internally within Ericsson.<\/li>\n<li>Act as interface to BU and Operations, relaying key messages of product \/services development and strategies and ensuring successful field implementation of products and services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<p>Minimum BE in Electrical engineering or equivalent<\/p>\n<p>Job Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Minimum of 2 years of Telecom experience<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills and Competences:<\/p>\n<p>technical<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong personal track record of sales and delivery within the practice area<\/li>\n<li>Strong track record in engaging with C-level at customers to sell and deliver in the practice area<\/li>\n<li>Ability to command the attention and respect of senior personnel in the customer<\/li>\n<li>Excellent product\/services knowledge within the area of responsibility (Mobile Broadband)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Radio Network Design and Network Performance as it affects customer&#8217;s networks<\/li>\n<li>Good end-to-end knowledge, including knowledge of supporting product\/ services within the area of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge about competitor product\/services within the area of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Very good computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Versatile consultative sales approach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven sales capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Identifying cross-unit opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Good Ericsson organisation knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer orientation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent business development skills<\/li>\n<li>Fast and unambiguous decision-making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Human:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge in written and spoken English<\/li>\n<li>Very good presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Dedication and commi<\/li>\n<li>Driving force and proactive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent internal and external communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The work includes frequent short trips to Europe and within sub-Saharan Africa<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Primary Location:\u00a0KE-110-Nairobi<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Other Locations:\u00a0GH-Accra-Accra<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Schedule:Full-time<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Expires 1st Feb 2011<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Click on this link:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tas-ericsson.taleo.net\/careersection\/2\/moresearch.ftl\">https:\/\/tas-ericsson.taleo.net\/careersection\/2\/moresearch.ftl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>select Ghana, Search for job and apply<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ericsson;
