It\u2019s hard to believe that today over 663 million people in the world still don\u2019t have clean, safe water and over 2.4 billion live without adequate toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every 2 minutes.<\/p>\n

WaterAid Ghana is looking for a Head of Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world\u2019s poorest communities.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Head of Policy, Advocacy & Campaigns<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0Contribute to strategic leadership of the Country programme as part of Senior Management Team (SMT) and implementation of the country strategy programme<\/p>\n

\u2013 Provide strategic leadership for the Country Programme and its partners\u2019 role in contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, WaterAid influencing priorities which include \u2018Healthy Start\u2019 (integrating WASH and Health), sector strengthening, among others.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Champion the application of agreed approaches such as District Wide Approach (DWA), Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA), and Endogenous Development (ED) approach etc. that will enhance WAG\u2019s effectiveness.<\/p>\n
