Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Procurement And Logistic Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n Program Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n Creative Associates International (Creative Associates) is preparing for the implementation of USAID\/West Africa\u2019s program Partnerships for Peace (P4P).\u00a0 The five-year program will partner and consult with stakeholders at the regional, national, and sub-national level across several West African countries, to develop a shared foundational understanding of counter violent extremism (CVE) in the region. The findings will improve institutional capacity of organizations and governments to implement more effective and coordinated CVE approaches.<\/p>\n To lead and support the implementation of Partnerships for Peace, Creative Associates seeks to engage a highly qualified and motivated team. All positions are full time and require a willingness to travel. Creative Associates is especially interested in receiving submissions from women applicants.\u00a0 Only qualified candidates who follow the application instructions will be contacted.<\/p>\n Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services for the Accra office and program activities implemented through grants under contract, awarded in-kind, and short-term technical assistance and direct delivery of goods and services activities. The Procurement & Logistics Officer is required to comply with Creative\u2019s policies and procedures and USAID\u2019s Automated Directives System (ADS), and Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR), the US government\u2019s Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the regulations which apply to P4P activities and awards. The Procurement & Logistics Officer will support the Accra-based team to procure goods and services and deliver these in a timely manner to ensure smooth running of Creative\u2019s Accra office.\u00a0 The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for ensuring transparency throughout the procurement process, maintaining the complete documentation and filing system for all procurements including quotations\/proposals, evaluations of quotations\/proposals, negotiation memorandums, award documents, correspondence with vendors, and activity inventory as required by Creative policies and procedures and USAID regulations. The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for updating the operations inventory as required by Creative policies and procedures and USAID regulations.
