The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) as the institution responsible for coordinating the implementation of the country\u2019s social protection system has established the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR)<\/p>\n

To ensure that social protection benefits get to the people who really need them, the Government of Ghana through Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has established the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR) with the mandate to establish a single national household register from which all social protection programs in in Ghana will select their beneficiaries.<\/p>\n

The registry was launched in Accra by the Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency Paa Kwesi Amisah-Arthur in October 2015.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Enumerator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 An enumerator is responsible for managing and collecting biographic and biometric data of all household members and filling of PMT Questionnaire using the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) method.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 He\/ She will interview household representatives and work closely with his\/her colleagues in the Mobile Registration Team.<\/p>\n

Enumerators are the main team members acting as the last mile agent and responsible for actual registration or enumeration of targeted households. Specific duties include;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Sensitize households in each community on the GNHR registration process.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Undertake data collection with household heads or representative and fill out the PMT questionnaire using the BIO-PMT tablets
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Capture finger prints of all household members who are 15 years and above
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide daily progress updates to supervisors
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Submit daily activity log reports to central servers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Transmit complete data to server
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Check and monitor the correct operation of the BIO-PMT tablet
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain the BIO-PMT tablet in good working condition
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Operate any back up plan provided in case of non-availability of part of the solution
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Discuss in detail the observations and follow the suggestions by the Supervisor in order to ensure quality of the biometrics, photos and PMT collected.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a Ghanaian
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A diploma degree holder
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in conducting field interviews preferably in rural communities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in utilizing technology tools
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Familiarity with the use of an Android devices
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Willingness to travel and work in remote communities in Upper East Region for a period of 3-4 months
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to speak the main language spoken in the specific district you applied to work.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent knowledge of the geographical locations of communities in the chosen district<\/p>\n

Reporting Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 He\/ She will report to the MRT Supervisor.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 In the discharge of his\/her duties, the enumerator will report to the GNHR Zonal Coordinator.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 He\/she will prepare and submit daily progress updates to the MRT supervisor.<\/p>\n

The Required Languages:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A prospective candidate should be able to speak the local dialect of the District or area of data collection (Gurune, Buli, Kassim, Bisa). He\/ She must also be able to effectively translate English into the local dialect proficiently.<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Upper East Region all districts<\/p>\n
