Yara is Ghana\u2019s leading crop nutrition company, providing farmers in Ghana with knowledge and best practices to sustainably improve crop yields, quality, and farmers\u2019 profits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yara Ghana is looking for a Finance Officer to join its team. The position. will be based in Accra and will report to the Accounts Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timely and accurate invoicing of sales to customers<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer payments are timely and accurately posted and allocated<\/li>\n<li>Weekly receivables reporting and preliminary follow-ups<\/li>\n<li>Perform customer accounts reconciliations and ensure any reconciliation issues with a customer are adequately and timely addressed<\/li>\n<li>Monitor credit insurance standards to ensure no loss is incurred within the terms of the cover<\/li>\n<li>Bank reconciliations \u2013 weekly bank reconciliations to ensure customer payments are timely captured. Ensure monthly bank reconciliations ate completed before each monthly book closing.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive actions taken on reconciling items<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts as required<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with the Commercial function and Logistics on inventory movements and sales<\/li>\n<li>Be part of the inventory count team to be involved in monthly counts<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly Cost analysis per cost Centre and advice on variances to the budget<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper filing of documents in the Finance department for easy retrieval<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree holder with specialization in Finance\/Accounting; having completed a professional accountancy course (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA) will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years work experience in Finance\/Accounting) preferably in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel; familiar with any ERP accounting software; SUN\/SAP knowledge will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mind-set with an eye for detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The deadline for your online application via <strong>www.yara.com\/positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline is 2 weeks after publication<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yara International ASA is a global Norwegian Company that specialises in agricultural products and environmental protection agents.
