{"id":21609,"date":"2017-01-20T12:16:26","date_gmt":"2017-01-20T12:16:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=21609"},"modified":"2017-01-23T09:07:22","modified_gmt":"2017-01-23T09:07:22","slug":"world-vision-january-2017-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-january-2017-jobs.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision January 2017 Jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>World Vision started working in Ghana in 1979.<br \/>\nIt currently implements 34 Area Development Programmes (ADPs) in all the 10 administrative regions in Ghana, three institutional and six special projects which directly benefit about two million people through health and nutrition, education, food security, water and sanitation, gender and development, micro-enterprise development and Christian Commitments programs.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently 74,213 Registered Children and 6,000 Registered Families with World Vision Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cluster Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide leadership and management to cluster staff (of 2 to 3 Area Programs) by ensuring that allocated Area Programs resources are used as per World Vision Ghana and World Vision International policies, procedures and standards to attain quality program performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Package<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The positions is based in Saboba \u2013 Northern Region<\/li>\n<li>S\/He reports to the Northern Regional Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that Area Programs yearly planning and budgeting process is done in a participative and inclusive approach with all partners (Government, Churches, local NGO, CBO) for quality and sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate proper and timely implementation and monitoring of development and grants programs\/projects within the cluster as per indicated in the planning documents.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee evaluation and baseline processes of the cluster programmes following World Vision Ghana and World Vision International standards, tools and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that sponsorship and child protection standards are adhered to and they are adequately integrated into programming for community transformation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure staff capacity &amp; skills development and performance management (including timely review and performance appraisal) in the cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and strengthen networking relationships with government, church, faith based organization leaders and other key partners.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit quality and timely monthly, quarterly, bi \u2013annual and annual Area Programs narrative and financial reports.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education \/ Work Experience \/ Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA\/Bsc Degree in Economics, Agriculture, Business Administration and Development studies\/planning Social Science or other related field. Master\u2019s Degree in one of the above is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate in Project Management<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience in programme\/project management.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience in community development is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>World Vision started working in Ghana in 1979.
