The Project comprises a Greenfield development of open pit mining operations, a processing facility and associated infrastructure to mine and process ore from defined resources in concessions including Salman-Akanko and Anwia-Bokazo deposits. Current estimates show the Project to have a minimum life of 10 years and produce on average 100,000oz of gold per year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: <\/strong>Nkroful Project<br \/>\n<strong>Department: <\/strong>Geology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Geology Manager<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All mine production geology functions including grade control drilling, sampling,QA\/QC procedures, ore excavation, in pit mapping, database maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Mine to mill ore production and mine to model reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Improvement of ore models, drill out of ore resources<\/li>\n<li>Sterilization drilling ahead of mine infrastructure requirements<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Exploration, Mine Engineering and Surveying Departments<\/li>\n<li>Management and training of approximately 40 personnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills\/ Job Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Geological engineering from a recognised institution or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Post graduate degree in Geological engineering is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>15 plus year experience with a strong focus on mine on mine geology<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy in a Mining Software like Gemcom-Surpac<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability and leadership to move projects forward and form part of the senior management team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All applications must be submitted to the e-mail address provide and in the manner requested.
