The Company&#8217;s segments include Australia, Ghana and Cote d&#8217;Ivoire. The Australia segment is engaged in investing activities and corporate management. The Ghana segment is engaged in mining, mineral exploration, evaluation and development activities. The Cote d&#8217;Ivoire segment is engaged in mineral exploration, evaluation and development activities. The Company holds over 90% of Edikan Gold Mine (EGM), approximately 90% of Grumesa Gold Project, over 90% of Yaoure Gold Project and approximately 86% of Sissingue Gold Mine. It has commenced exploration at various near-mine prospects, including Bokitsi, Mampong, Pokukrom and the Agyakusu prospecting license. It has also commenced exploration at other prospects in Cote d&#8217;Ivoire, including the Mbengue, Mahale and Napie licenses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Technical Services Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role is responsible for providing high-level technical guidance to the Edikan Gold Mine and developing and implementing planning systems across the Company in line with strategic business requirements. Provide technical advice including analysis, mine design specification, production schedules and instructions to the operational team to ensure the successful execution of the strategy for Mine Planning, Geotechnical and Geology to align with the organization\u2019s overall strategy. The successful applicant will have extensive exposure to open pit gold mining.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide high level technical guidance to mining operations to maximise operating efficiencies at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance and production system interface\/alignment at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Review medium term mine plans to ensure alignment with long term strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop long term mine plans and communicate to Senior Management as required.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with industry service providers to remain abreast of key technological developments \/innovations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction and technical expertise in design development and systems integration\/optimisation.<\/li>\n<li>Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and advice accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Develop credible, constructive relationship across Perseus Mining Limited.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees and is responsible for the preparation of all mining reserves<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the optimisation, scheduling and design of the mine<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and manage preparation of budgets and analyses \u2013 all cost and financial aspects of the mining process<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and responsible for the optimal preparation of all Geotechnical, Grade Control and Geology functions.
