She\/he will be responsible for things such as managing inventory, receiving, storage and disbursement of commodities, ordering necessary stock and related reporting. \nThe Stores Coordinator will report directly to the Finance Manager. She\/he will be based in Accra and expected to travel to other regions in Ghana when needed.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Train non-stores Staff in warehouse and inventory management and collaborate with the Procurement Unit to ensure inventory items are procured and stored in the most effective, efficient and economical way and also ensure that commodities are
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 kept at the right temperature to avoid wastage and damages.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinate the submission of accurate and timely end-of-month inventory reports of stock from all locations outside of central stores.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with Stores Assistant to reconcile the monthly stock report (maintained by stores) into SUN ledger balance for inventory
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct routine and on-the-spot stock counts at Central Stores, various MSIG Centres and Outreach sites
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with external auditors to conduct end of year and stock count to submit report to Finance Manager
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage and coordinate contraceptives procurement trend, forecast and quantification funding
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Advocate for donation and represent MSIG at stakeholder meetings for donated stocks
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in the Quarterly forecast review process and support Finance Department to \u2018develop accurate forecast of inventory consumption
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for ensuring that updating costing for inventory items are accurate
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Any other related duties that may come up<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Professional Qualification: ACCA Part I, HND in Accountancy will be an advantage<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Good spoken and written English language
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in managing large \/multiple stores
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Customer-focused with good interpersonal.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 skills to engage with people especially other team members and suppliers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in commodity planning and forecasting
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Computer literate (Strong Excel required)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit positive attitudes to all team members
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Extremely detail oriented with accuracy;
