Yara Ghana is looking for a Warehouse Officer to undertake and control Yara Ghana warehouse activities as required.. The position will be based in Accra and will report to the Warehouse Manager.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Warehouse Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Checking and inspecting products received and ensuring that they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality and label all products in the warehouse. Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Graduate degree or Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or Accounting from a recognized Institute
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Despatch products to customers by following delivery procedure.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Organize all warehouse activities and ensure all safety requirements are met.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct Monthly stock take and prepare report.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Effectively manage inventories at the Warehouse and accurately update data into the System.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage contracted labour and supervise the work of clerks at the warehouse.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the warehouse always have a high standard of housekeeping.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Carry out other responsibilities assigned.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum 3 years multinational working experience.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 3 \u2013 5 years warehouse experience in manufacturing.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent communication and listening skills; good interpersonal relationship skills.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work independently and within teams.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent computer skills.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Fluency in English
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Good health & Safety experience.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of SUN Accounting will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
