Its expertise is in catalyzing investment, climate smart agriculture, empowerment &amp; resilience, institutional strengthening, and market systems.<\/p>\n<p>ACDI\/VOCA is currently seeking a Farming as a Business Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Ghana. Darko Farms Limited is requesting volunteer assistance to value their assets and goodwill, as part of the process to access financing. The volunteer will also train staff members on how to perform these calculations. The assignment will last for approximately two weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Travel and living are covered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Farming as a Business Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"\">University degree in agribusiness or a related field<\/li>\n<li class=\"JHover\">At least 5-10 years? experience in asset and goodwill valuation<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">The volunteer should be prepared to live in a rural and hot setting with limited or no access to amenities such as air conditioning or internet.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Previous experience in rural African settings an advantage, although not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ACDI\/VOCA is an economic development organization that fosters broad-based economic growth, raises living standards, and creates vibrant communities.
