Tullow Oil plc is a multinational oil and gas exploration company founded in Tullow, Ireland with its headquarters in London, United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
It has interests in over 150 licenses across 25 countries with 67 producing fields and in 2012 produced on average 79,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Its largest activities are in Africa and the Atlantic Margins, where it has discovered new oil provinces in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya and French Guiana.<\/p>\n

Agencies to understand the National Development Plan and the medium and long term goals of Ghana<\/span><\/p>\n Identifying and aligning these goals into a long term industry LC strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n Design and implement strategies for Supplier and Market development to support a long term industry LC strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n Design and create a Stakeholder map to clearly identify all relevant internal and external Stakeholders and an engagement plan for same.<\/span><\/p>\n Keeping abreast of international and in-country trends such as taxation, expropriation risks, resource nationalism, LC expectations , politics and public perception<\/span><\/p>\n Responsible for the implementation of Tullow corporate level standards, guidelines and reporting<\/span><\/p>\n Responsible for the adaptation and customisation of corporate standards to meet business needs, realities and circumstances<\/span><\/p>\n Responsible for the BU\u2019s LC policies, strategies and performance against corporate standards<\/span><\/p>\n Advise the SCM Manager in their LC positioning, organisational structuring and in the execution of realistic LC strategies, targets and plans<\/span><\/p>\n Participate in engagement and negotiation with government agencies \u00a0<\/span>and regulators on LC expectations, legislation, targets, timing and associated cost commitments<\/span><\/p>\n Identify risks and threats posed by LC to TGL and provide guidance on resolving these issues to the SCM Manager.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Person Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Functional expertise in at least two of the following areas: supply chain management, oil and gas legislation, Commercial & Strategy, external affairs<\/span><\/p>\n Advanced degree in Engineering, Economics or MBA (advantageous)<\/span><\/p>\n Experience living and working in a developing or transition country preferably\u00a0 <\/span>where Tullow operates<\/span><\/p>\n Experience in oil and gas or offshore field services (advantageous)<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n A strategic thinker with the ability to influence and contribute to decisions
