We have significant traction in Ghana and are looking to grow there and additional markets in the next year. http:\/\/worldcovr.comWantedAn exceptional, innovative, and metric-driven team member to build a successful model for selling crop insurance to smallholder farmers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sales Innovation Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are not looking for a Sales Manager who grows our sales according to targets. Instead we are looking for an innovator who can experiment and develop a brand new sales model.<\/p>\n<p>Some sales experience preferred, but most important is high energy, creativity, and a relentless, hypothesis-driven approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Ghana, in one of Northern, Upper East, Upper West, or Brong Ahafo regions with significant travel throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>Duration: 2 year commitment to WorldCover, with 3-month review period.<\/p>\n<p>Full-time job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Sales Innovations Director, your primary responsibility will be to develop a new sales model from scratch, which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Starts in the Brong-Ahafo region<\/li>\n<li>Tests multiple approaches in lean, sprint-like experiments<\/li>\n<li>Monitors cost and efficiency carefully<\/li>\n<li>Balances revenue appropriately with \u201ccost of acquisition\u201d of customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will be given 3 months to show initial results. If successful, you will oversee the roll-out of the model across Brong-Ahafo region, which will include hiring a dedicated Regional Sales Coordinator to carry out the new sales model.Then, you will grow into a broader role with WorldCover in which you will measure, monitor, and improve sales metrics (costs and revenues) across the organization in all regions we operate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities Include<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field visits to directly market, sell, and service the product in the scope of hypothesis-driven experiments and research projects which will enable you to develop a new sales model<\/li>\n<li>Developing spreadsheets to create theoretical sales models as well as to track actual result<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The REQUIREMENTS for this position are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very good quantitative skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create and test an experimental sales plan (you will be asked to submit one during the interview process)<\/li>\n<li>Extremely good English verbal and written communication skills (international standards)<\/li>\n<li>Twi language skills<\/li>\n<li>Some limited sales experience<\/li>\n<li>Some familiarity with Brong-Ahafo region and \/ or smallholder farmers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOT Required Or Valuable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A large network of agricultural stakeholders in Brong-Ahafo<\/li>\n<li>Sales management experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WorldCover sells crop insurance to farmers in the developing world, starting with Ghana.
