The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mining Production Superintendent, reporting to the Mining Manager, will be responsible for the everyday management of the contract mining operations at the Central Ashanti Gold Project, Ayanfuri.<\/p>\n<p>The responsibilities include but are not limited to monitor the operations of the mining contractor, ensure that the mining operations are carried out in a safe working environment and develop, implement and monitor strategies to ensure that mining complies with production schedules and budgeted costs<\/p>\n<p>The Position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p>The sucessful applicant must be computer literate and will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role in large-scale open pit mining operations, strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, a Ghanaian Mine Superintendent Statutory certificate and a tertiary education qualification in Mining Engineering<br \/>\nExperience in contract mining operations is very essential<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit an application and detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
