\u00a0Operations<\/p>\n<p>Reports To: Branch Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the smooth running of the Sales Units by compiling and implementing sales, marketing and promotional plans.<\/li>\n<li>To manage performance of all Sales Executives \/ Agents to meet and exceed targets thereby ensuring growth and service delivery according to BFS business and operational strategy<\/li>\n<li>Manage the relationship between the Branch, the \u00a0Sales Units and the Sales Executives\/ Agents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sale Performance \/ Achievement of Unit Sales Target\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve \/ exceed monthly Sales Unit target in terms of count and cash\/ value<\/li>\n<li>Achieve targets for all product categories as per monthly schedules<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the correct weighting is achieved on the sales product mix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Execution of Sales Unit Operational Plans\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads the Sales Unit Supervisors and Sale Executives\/ Agents \u00a0to implement sales, marketing and promotional plans to achieve and continuously improve branch sales<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that laid down policies and procedures are communicated, implemented and adhered to by ALL within your Unit(s) ( Daily Disciplines, Sales Roles, Code of Conduct, Sales Management Policy documents etc)<\/li>\n<li>Ensures continuous recruitment \u00a0, training, coaching of new \u00a0Agents \/ Sales Executives to facilitate the achievement of Units \u00a0sales targets<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Units retain a minimum average number of active Sales Executives \/ Agents across all Sales Units every month.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all new recruits \/ agents \u00a0are given contracts and coded<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that the Sales Units adhere to BFS Agents\/Sales Executives code of conduct and that their actions are aligned to business objectives<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that ALL \u00a0Agents \/ Sales Executives are \u00a0trained and receive on-going coaching \u00a0to make them \u00a0adequately skilled to execute their sales and marketing duties in a \u00a0professional and ethical manner<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that Sales Units meet all lending criteria as stipulated in the company Credit Policy<\/li>\n<li>Communicate to the Branch Manager and all other relevant Managers issues concerning employee\/ Agent \u00a0performance, people issues, \u00a0unit hygiene matters etc \u00a0at the Units for resolution<\/li>\n<li>Resolves sales, marketing and promotional challenges and difficulties confronting all Sales Units and where challenged refer same to the Branch and Regional Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that unit staffs know and clearly understand Company Credit and Quality Assurance policy guidelines and procedures on loan processing.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all Loan underwriters comply strictly with these policy guidelines when underwriting loans for your approval.<\/li>\n<li>Keep errors arising from deal processing within acceptable limits<\/li>\n<li>Take disciplinary \/ corrective action where infractions occur<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Housekeeping\/ Reporting\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure excellent Housekeeping, Punctuality, proper and appropriate dressing of Sales Executives and Sales Unit staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance and adherence of Sales Executives to the company code of conduct and all other authorized standards and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all management and regulatory reports (hourly scheduled returns, Unit performance, Agent recruitment and training plans, Marketing plans, sales reports etc) are prepare and submitted on time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Relationship Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that minimum customer service standards are maintained at all Units by establishing and keeping service level agreements with both internal and external customers\/ stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Discusses customer service issues of the Units with the Branch Manager and Head Office staff for solutions and provide feedback to customers concerned<\/li>\n<li>Keeps abreast with current \u00a0industry trends \u00a0and provide regular feedback on competitor information<\/li>\n<li>Resolves all customer complaints \/ queries that affect the Sales Units by attending to them immediately and providing feedback to the relevant parties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training of Subordinates \/ Personal Development\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend required training and all other information and business strategy sessions provided by the company and communicates the learnings to the Units<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Agents \/ Sales Executives are \u00a0continuously trained, informed and kept up to date<\/li>\n<li>Coaches individual employees as a means of transferring knowledge, skills, and accelerating \u00a0their career development<\/li>\n<li>Take steps to ensure your personal development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1st Degree OR HND or its equivalents plus relevant hands on experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct Sales and Marketing experience in the NBFI industry.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years \u00a0management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required (Skills &amp; Abilities)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and Supervising skills<\/li>\n<li>Good personal interaction and \u00a0communication skills \u2013 written &amp; oral<\/li>\n<li>The discipline to adhere to principles and values of the company<\/li>\n<li>Selling and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Adherence \u00a0to principles and values<\/li>\n<li>Ability to cope with pressure and set backs<\/li>\n<li>Outcomes based \u00a0orientation \u2013 prepared to be
