Job Title:\u00a0Ghana Country Program Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

NRGI seeks a full-time Ghana Country Program Manager to coordinate and oversee the implementation of NRGI\u2019s activities with a variety of agents of change in Ghana: decision makers in parliament and the government, as well as civil society actors, media, and the Public Interest and Accountability Committee. This position will be responsible for ensuring synergies between NRGI\u2019s various projects at the country level, responding to the changing environment and seizing opportunities for engagement.<\/p>\n

The Ghana country portfolio includes work with various stakeholders to promote the more effective management of Ghana\u2019s mineral and petroleum resources, including through capacity development, technical assistance and the provision of policy advice to Ghana\u2019s parliament, the Public Interest and Accountability Committee, the executive, civil society and media, and through support to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) process. This position is a unique opportunity to work across multiple different stakeholders, to broker dialogue and improve good governance in the natural resource sector.<\/p>\n

The position will be based in Accra, Ghana, where NRGI\u2019s Africa regional office is located. The post will report to the Africa Deputy Director, also based in Accra.<\/p>\n
