The Head supports the Directors in upholding high expectations for school culture and student behaviour. He\/She drives decision-making on issues of school site procedures, Learning curriculum, and staffing.<\/p>\n<p>The Head is integral to our School and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head Of School<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support student achievement by designing and managing the implementation of school site procedures and logistics that maximize instructional time and ensure student safety. This includes coordinating arrival, dismissal, meals, and class timetables and transitions.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with school leadership to manage Teachers and school site operational staff, including facilitating termly and final evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a regular schedule of Class observations and observation review meetings to ensure that tutors successfully plan instruction, execute instruction, and implement the Schools culture and behaviour management techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate an assessment and data analysis cycle that allows tutors to analyse student performance, identify areas for targeted instruction, and design mini-lessons for small-group tutoring.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Nurture a high-achieving work environment where staff feel genuinely valued and supported.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the vision and mission of our School to staff, students, families, and the greater community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Type: <\/strong>Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree or Master in Education<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of certification A in teaching.<\/li>\n<li>At least five years of exemplary classroom instruction<\/li>\n<li>Experience in school leadership or management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Mindsets<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focus first and foremost on student achievement, demonstrating a \u201cwhatever it takes\u201d attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate constantly, operating with a team mindset.<\/li>\n<li>Show humility and appreciate respectful feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Seek to innovate, grow professionally, and share best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Multitask and demonstrate efficiency in time management.<\/li>\n<li>Gather data, compile information from multiple sources, and present findings clearly.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Value students\u2019 families and community.<\/li>\n<li>Celebrate successes and engage in solutions-oriented thinking when presented with a challenge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV to <strong>schoolhiresearch@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Head of School drives student achievement by managing efficient, smooth school operations that maximize instructional minutes for students.
