{"id":22636,"date":"2017-03-14T12:28:21","date_gmt":"2017-03-14T12:28:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=22636"},"modified":"2017-03-14T12:28:21","modified_gmt":"2017-03-14T12:28:21","slug":"zormelo-associates-recruiting-now-2017-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/zormelo-associates-recruiting-now-2017-jobs.html","title":{"rendered":"Zormelo &#038; Associates Recruiting Now (2017 Jobs)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our client, an investment arm of a Ghanaian owned Commercial Bank seeks to fill the position of Audit Manager with a results oriented individual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Audit Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Board, the job holder is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related audits\/reviews of company and its affiliates<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews\/audits.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.<\/li>\n<li>Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through appropriate audit techniques<\/li>\n<li>Analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, identifies control gaps and makes recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares\/ reviews audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor.<\/li>\n<li>Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and practices within the company and affiliates<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditors, on audit assignments, as applicable<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-the-job training and supervise subordinates within the audit team.<\/li>\n<li>Development and communication of observations and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain key risk registers for Internal Audit Department.<\/li>\n<li>Undertakes special reviews and investigations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties assigned by superior officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 1st degree in Accounting \/finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, and 7 years work experience<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional certifications (i.e. ACCA, CIMA, ICA-G, IIA) is required with 5 years\u2019 experience in Financial services auditing<\/li>\n<li>Internal audit experience or equivalent line experience in a risk or control function, including experience in leading audit (internal or external) engagements.
