The group comprises of Empower Workforce Solutions (a premier human resources solutions company), Empower Facilities Management (a premier property and building services company \u00a0www.empowerfacilities.com ), Empower Telecoms, Empower Office Suites and Empower Foundations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Lawyer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client, an independent corporate finance, business support, tax and legal consultancy services company is looking to engage an ambitious young lawyer as a JUNIOR LAWYER<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support with the organization of monthly events Contribute to newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings with clients in Ghana or abroad or conferences in Ghana or abroad<\/li>\n<li>Work on the legal and tax aspects of our fundraising projects (review of term-sheets, projects\u2019 structuring, negotiation meetings with lenders and\/or investors)<\/li>\n<li>Complete legal and tax research where necessary, either on Ghana or OHADA law<\/li>\n<li>Structuring of our clients\u2019 projects and negotiation of agreements<\/li>\n<li>Assist on our clients\u2019 projects, including drafting of legal and tax due diligence reports<\/li>\n<li>Draft or critically review contracts<\/li>\n<li>Draft memoranda, reports and notes relating to various legal and tax issues<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with client\u2019s partner law firms in Ghana and abroad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary: \u00a0Market related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Law Degrees\/Ghana School of Law Qualifying and Practicing Certificates<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years\u2019 experience in corporate and tax law<\/li>\n<li>Excellent drafting skills<\/li>\n<li>Curiosity-The position will imply working on Ghana law but also on foreign laws, particularly laws of Francophone Africa countries<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving and decision making abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Time management skills and respect for timelines and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Excellent work capacity and commitment<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in French would be a decisive advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should send their CV\u2019s via <strong>http:\/\/empowergh.mcidirecthire.com\/web\/JobDetails.aspx?VID=181&amp;Media=#.WMa2JvJ-bv4<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Empower Group is a premier services oriented company aimed at providing quality companies with quality solutions.
