\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist the country director in establishing affiliation agreements with other health care institutions by promoting rapport between the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and regulatory agencies, professional groups and private healthcare providers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead medical innovation and actively source new services that contribute to MSIG\u2019s overall mission.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead and participate in medical studies relevant to MSIG core values and interact with external regulatory agencies to ensure ethical considerations are met
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide leadership and guidance to the Medical Development team, motivate and coach members to operate with a high degree of accountability and professionalism
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that the Training team conducts trainings, as needed and that trainings are of high quality and responsive to MSIG needs
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure medical incidence reports systems meet the needs of clients and all actors
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Serve as a resource for information about SRH issues and share educational resources (books, periodicals, articles) as required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Write articles for in-house and\/or external publications
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duties that may come up<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Professional certificate \/ License in Nursing, Midwifery or Medicine
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Evidence of good standing with a recognised clinical related professional body in Ghana<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A minimum of 10 years in a senior management role
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Reliable and able to work for long hours without supervision, enthusiastic, positive, determined and flexible
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent clinical skills in a least 2 of the following medical procedures, manual vacuum, aspiration, tubal ligation, IUCF insertion, implants insertion or vasectomy
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working knowledge in IT skills in internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Substantial clinical experience with clinical management and supervision experience
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient at the provision of Family Planning (FP) and sexual reproductive health (SRH) services
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Able to apply excellent clinical skills to social goals\/issues
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Able and willing to travel locally and overseas
