Although at this time the individual will have no direct reports, it is widely recognised that this individual will play a critical role within the regional management team who have been tasked with significantly developing the regions operational excellence and customer engagement level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creative Customer Solutions \u2013 Think differently, deliver swiftly and capture the value<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver significant value through supporting opportunities from the customer offering, including new services and effective price strategies and identifying variation opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver Regional Operations to agreed service levels and costs as per customer contract obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Minimise operational deficiencies that cause disruption to customer relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and make the Business Manager aware at earliest stage possible where customer contract obligations will not be met.<\/li>\n<li>Provide customer feedback to Account Managers and ideas and\/or suggestions for creative customer solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Optimise the operational efficiency of the Regional Business ie. fixed and mobile plant and equipment utilisation &amp; people resources.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain a dynamic, motivated workforce at optimum resource #\u2019s to deliver the business.<\/li>\n<li>Manage medium &amp; long term MMU sustenance plan + capital plan for sustenance, growth &amp; SH&amp;E.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed cost Budget control and UAM (unplanned abnormal maintenance) management.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, manage and implement the use of idle assets into new business .<\/li>\n<li>Lead and support maintenance and improvement projects for Regional Business.<\/li>\n<li>Optimise supply chain costs to the region.<\/li>\n<li>Optimise stock levels \u2013 reduce write ups and downs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Quality policies and procedures are managed, implemented and adhered to in NE Region.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the supply of trained and skilled staff for new and expanding business through resource planning and involvement in the establishment of recruitment processes that meet business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in succession plans for all direct reports and drive succession planning throughout the operations team.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance development plans for all direct reports and drive performance development plans throughout the operations team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all staff are appropriately trained, developed, managed and supported to meet their position responsibilities and performance objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Strong product and application knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent people management and communications skills at high and low levels.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and coaching abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Operational delivery proficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>High level decision making ability.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive Operations Management experience.<\/li>\n<li>(O\/C &amp; U\/G) in a similar service environment .<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and management of personnel indirectly.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance management experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Degree Qualified in a related field or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Post Graduate Business qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Possess unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values and solid character.<\/li>\n<li>Builds the trust of others both internally and externally.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate innate business intellect, achievement orientation and competitive spirit.<\/li>\n<li>Exude confidence, yet be without strong ego needs; is self-aware and open to feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Show courage to make decisions, yet is patient to make the right ones.<\/li>\n<li>Model resilience and flexibility; adapts well to new circumstances and adversity.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a bias to working in a team oriented fashion, supporting other\u2019s success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Commercial Ownership \u2013 run the business as if it\u2019s your own<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply please contact Michael Thomas at Goodall Brazier on <strong>+44 (0)7787 278 854<\/strong> and forward a copy of your CV to <strong>michael.thomas@goodallbrazier.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Goodall Brazier is now one of the fastest growing Executive Search Consultancies\u2019 of its kind, our business works and grows by referrals.
