Key purpose of the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsible for translating the business strategy into prioritised HR actions and interventions to appropriate time, cost and quality standards that support delivery of the strategy.<\/p>\n Lead business leadership teams, through the interpretation and execution of the Group\u2019s people agenda<\/p>\n Responsibilities:<\/p>\n Strategy Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n Define and develop governing objectives and policies which are aligned to Group<\/p>\n Generate, evaluate and make recommendations on the Bank\u2019s Strategy.<\/p>\n Establish parameters for Risk profile and policies<\/p>\n Generate HR Strategies which support the strategic requirements of the Bank and maximize the organization and people capability<\/p>\n Lead the business in the development, build and re-enforcement of a sustainable organization design, which supports the delivery of the business goals with maximum control, efficiency and effectiveness<\/p>\n Develop an Employee Relations strategy to deliver HR proposition through employee consultation, information events, internal communications vehicles, interpretation of employee insight data, employment policies and involvement of recognized Trade Unions<\/p>\n Business Performance:<\/strong><\/p>\n Identify, approve and manage the high value at stake strategies of the Bank<\/p>\n Take major operating and investment decisions including:<\/p>\n Overall Budget approval<\/p>\n Deliver improved governance risk management, controls and compliance<\/p>\n Sponsor and review HR projects, services and policies ensuring that they are delivered to the Business to time, cost and quality standards<\/p>\n Defining support requirements and HR Plans for input to the Centres of Excellence<\/p>\n Set business requirements and review policies delivered by Centres of Excellence to ensure fit for business purpose<\/p>\n Develop and implement the Bank\u2019s specific HR interventions which are explicitly congruent with Group HR policies and standards<\/p>\n Leadership:<\/p>\n The Candidate must be\u00a0CIPD qualified or have a similar post graduate qualification and evidence of continued professional development, full range of distinctive capabilities and at least 70% of technical capabilities (listed below) preferred.
