AngloGold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Ltd is looking for r a highly qualified and motivated person for the position of<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Nursing Officer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide assistance for the Resident Medical Officer in the day-to-day running of the clinic on a shift basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and undertake health promotion programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake theatre nursing duties.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare patients for OPD consultation and admission by doing the following:<\/li>\n<li>Checking and recording vital signs<\/li>\n<li>Orientation and education of patients<\/li>\n<li>Counselling and administration of medications to patients, according to the prescription instructions<\/li>\n<li>Provide First Aid and first line emergency treatment in the absence of the medical officer and inform him of the condition.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out clinical procedures such as wound dressing, IM injection and injury treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare weekly and monthly clinic reports for Resident Medical Officer\u2019s review.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Medical Assistant to ensure that the ambulance, evacuation procedures and emergency equipment are duly checked each day.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure good housekeeping and standard hospital infection control procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Medically escort critically ill patients to referral hospitals during medical evacuation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified State Registered Nurse\/Diploma in Nursing.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of s years nursing practice with experience in theatre and emergency nursing.<\/li>\n<li>In good standing with the Ghana Nurses and Midwives\u2019 Council.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of health data management.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and strong interpersonal\/presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work extra hours and also respond to tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a valid national driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and eligible persons who meet the above criteria are to forward their applications with detailed Curriculum Vitae to any of the following addresses :<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Senior Manager-<br \/>\nHuman Resources<br \/>\nAnglogold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Limited<br \/>\nP.O.
