\nOur client is a growing microfinance institution based in Cape Coast. The institution is expanding its operations and seeks to recruit staff.<\/p>\n
The Loan Officer will:
\nUndertake extensive outreach to identify potential clients the institution can provide services to and promote the institution’s products and services
\nAssess the potential loan market and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans
\nSupport applicants with relevant information and advice to enable them put in applications for loan
\nConduct client credit assessments to determine credit\/worthiness of clients
\nForm, train and manage quality credit groups
\nControl and manage loan delinquency
\nRemuneration: Attractive and Negotiable
\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n
As a Loan Officer you must have:<\/p>\n
A minimum of 1st degree in Administration (Finance or Accounting option) or related field with at least 1 year experience in a similar position in an MFI or Financial Institution or must have completed National Service
\nGood networking, communication and interpersonal skills
\nThe ability to work well in a team
\nGood computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel<\/p>\n
