\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Procure and set-up equipment, instruments and materials used in performing scheduled tests or experiments.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare tissue specimens for cutting; use microtome to obtain sections for mounting; stain sections with dye and mount on slides.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Obtain urine, blood and other specimens and label and prepare for laboratory analysis.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Repair, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare culture media, chemicals, solutions and reagents.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Clean and sterilize instruments, glassware and equipment; restock supplies and materials as required.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare and maintain a variety of routine laboratory records.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Review work of lower level laboratory employees and assist in the training of new personnel.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Degrees, Licensure, and\/or Certification: Member of the Ghana Association of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to maintain confidentiality
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong communications
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Courteous Attitude
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Understanding of medical terminology and calculations<\/p>\n
