MBC Africa is a collaborative venture between Lundin Foundation and Engineers without Borders Canada and supported by Global Affairs Canada. The organization provides an enabling environment for agribusinesses in Africa by integrating the business services they need to grow onto one single platform. Our team aims to enhance the knowledge, skill, and performance of agribusiness entrepreneurs and managers through innovative training, consulting and mentoring services. MBC Africa also aims to support youth to seize the vast opportunities in the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Communications Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

MBC Africa is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Communications Officer. The successful candidate will work with all of the teams within MBC Africa to ensure that they have the materials they need to communicate effectively with external partners. This may involve designing PowerPoint presentations, designing and printing flyers and banners, writing press releases, communicating with newspaper and television media, updating the MBC Africa website, and posting regularly on the MBC Africa Facebook and Twitter pages.<\/p>\n

Another aspect of the Communications Officer role will be to coordinate the MBC Africa Clubs. MBC Africa has been hosting agribusiness accelerator programs in various regions of Ghana over the past 2 years, and now there is a need to engage the alumni of these programs to facilitate continued sharing of learning between past participant businesses. Since MBC Africa desires to promote the continued success of businesses that have participated in past agribusiness accelerator programs, the Communications Officer will coordinate the provision of an online business management skills development training program to these businesses.<\/p>\n

Ideally the successful candidate will be someone with a passion for graphic design and web development and who enjoys crafting marketing messages for the public, all while maintaining a strong focus on helping agribusinesses in Ghana develop to their greatest potential.
