The institution is expanding its operations and seeks to recruit staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Accountant will:<\/strong><br \/>\nEnsure that financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures of the institution<br \/>\nCompile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts<br \/>\nPrepare financial management reports and ensure that all internal and external reporting deadlines, including audit, tax, and third parties are met<br \/>\nAnalyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources, provide recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems<br \/>\nEstablish and ensure that appropriate accounting control systems required for the effective operations of the institution are implemented<br \/>\nRemuneration: Attractive and Negotiable<br \/>\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Accountant you must have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of 1st degree in an Accounting related field with at least two (2) years work experience in a similar position in a microfinance or financial institution or<br \/>\nA minimum of HND Accounting with at least three (3) years work experience in a similar position in a microfinance or financial institution<br \/>\nProfessional qualification of part or fully qualified ICA\/ACCA will be an added advantage<br \/>\nExcellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel.
