{"id":23015,"date":"2017-03-31T07:29:01","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T07:29:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=23015"},"modified":"2017-03-31T07:29:01","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T07:29:01","slug":"african-mining-services-jobs-ghana-jobs-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/african-mining-services-jobs-ghana-jobs-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"African Mining Services Jobs: Ghana Jobs 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WE PROVIDE ALL THE MINING CONTRACTING SERVICES YOU NEED TO EXPLORE, DEVELOP AND MINE YOUR VALUABLE RESOURCE SUCCESSFULLY IN AFRICA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Equipment Hire Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and develop a sustainable and profitable Equipment Hire business.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and plan AMS group fleet availability in the short and long term for customer services.<\/li>\n<li>Market available fleet and their capacities to generate new customers and develop healthy long lasting business relationships with clients and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to the AMS Plant Hire strategy to build up and monitor plant hire rates in conjunction with the Asset Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with designated Operations Managers on opportunities and risks associated with equipment hire in their designated countries.<\/li>\n<li>Travel regularly to all countries where AMS operates to target for equipment hire contracts.<\/li>\n<li>React to clients\u2019 needs in a fast and accurate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Manage an efficient, safe and effective operation by effectively managing the equipment and people and ensure all mandatory training is completed for a safe workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very attractive and commensurate with<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Trade Certification with a post-graduate qualification in Marketing.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of working experience or knowledge in wide range of mobile mining\u00a0 equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong focus on safety with the ability to manage an efficient, safe and effective operation of hired plant and people.<\/li>\n<li>High knowledge of mining and associated equipment with the ability to offer technical advice to enhance customers\u2019 satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build portable infrastructure for hire projects to ensure high standards of equipment and personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and generate a scope of works and a responsibility matrix so that all obligations are followed for results.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple workloads with high standards and tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand a P&amp;L in order to drive business profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under a KPI regime to deliver a profitable business unit.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage their own time to produce results.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write professional correspondence and proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of negotiation skills and ability to research market.<\/li>\n<li>High standard of communication skills with good grasp of English.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak French fluently will be highly regarded.<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple workloads with high standards and tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Must be capable of spending long periods away from designated office locations as per business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid Driving Licence and Travelling Passport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Respond with your application and current Curriculum Vitae to: <strong>jobs@amsgh.com<\/strong> or<br \/>\n<strong>The Human Resources Manager African Mining Services Ghana (AMSG) P.O.Box 221 Tarkwa.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Closing Date: January 17, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NB: ONLY SHORTLISTED APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONTACTED<\/strong><br \/>\nSalary will be offered commensurate with qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WE PROVIDE ALL THE MINING CONTRACTING SERVICES YOU NEED TO EXPLORE, DEVELOP AND MINE YOUR VALUABLE RESOURCE SUCCESSFULLY IN AFRICA.
