In 2006, it had around 400,000 customers for fixed and mobile telephony and Internet services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fixed Broadband Sales Executive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Overall, the output of the candidate should achieve Fixed broadband acquisition targets and help in creating tangible (revenue) value.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive FTTH acquisition in all communities where Fibre-broadband has been deployed in GT Accra and Tema<\/li>\n<li>Review of customer Data captured on application forms to ensure they are accurate and up to date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop understanding of customer needs with regards to internet data usage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Build a pipeline of applications that will lead to acquisition conversions in the short term.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily door to door visit to customers in FTTH communities to achieve target Fibre Broadband acquisitions<\/li>\n<li>Organise weekend and holiday community activations to drive Fibre broadband acquisitions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage monthly acquisitions to ensure Quality Gross Ads is achieved<\/li>\n<li>Implement superior customer experience in on \u2013boarding new customers<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily and weekly reports on customer visits and gross acquisition conversions<\/li>\n<li>Implement recommendations\/plans\/actions to increase revenue and profit for FBU.<\/li>\n<li>Input to various projects for Vodafone Ghana.<\/li>\n<li>Any other task from the unit\/department head aimed at attaining FBU objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ordinarily, a degree or diploma in Telecom engineering will be adequate. Candidate should demonstrate thorough understanding of the communication industry and excellent product knowledge especially in the fixed Data consumer market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Language Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English \u2013 Fluent<\/li>\n<li>Local language \u2013 conversational<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\/Skill Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced knowledge in internet usage<\/li>\n<li>Be Tech savvy and an active user of the internet<\/li>\n<li>must be abreast with new trends such as IOT<\/li>\n<li>be an extrovert and communicate clearly and concisely<\/li>\n<li>have a working knowledge in using Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Only candidates who meet this criteria will be shortlisted.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vodafone Ghana, formerly Ghana Telecom, is the national telecommunications company of Ghana.
