Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Finance Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n The main responsibilities of this role, West Africa Finance Controller are:<\/p>\n \u2022 Annual Budgeting:<\/p>\n \u2013 Review, analyze and challenge the subsidiary\u2019s budget for West Africa.<\/p>\n \u2013 Support subsidiaries during preparation of budget and assist with Hyperion Planning related questions.<\/p>\n \u2022 Monthly Controlling:<\/p>\n \u2013 Enforce compliance of Subsidiaries with the defined reporting format.<\/p>\n \u2013 Review, challenge and analyze subsidiary monthly report (SMR) to calculate deviations from budget and suggest corrective measures.<\/p>\n \u2013 Develop consolidated monthly report of the perimeter\/region for further consolidation at BU level.<\/p>\n \u2013 Clean, reconcile and monitor intercompany balances.<\/p>\n \u2013 Control loans to subsidiaries and warn of interest settlements.<\/p>\n \u2013 Analyze the cash flow needs and analyze forecasts of the subsidiaries.<\/p>\n \u2013 Evaluate the investments in each subsidiary.<\/p>\n \u2022 Region Reporting:<\/p>\n \u2013 Prepare reports to West Africa Finance Manager and other specific reports required for Regional management.<\/p>\n \u2013 Support other departments in the exercise of their functions.<\/p>\n \u2013 Analyze and challenge monthly deviations from budget and previous years produced in each subsidiary.<\/p>\n Desired Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administrations, Economics or related fields.<\/p>\n \u2022 5+ years of relevant work experience in Finance roles within multinational environments.<\/p>\n \u2022 Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, such as Oracle.<\/p>\n \u2022 Advance level of English and French.<\/p>\n Maxam core competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Understanding our business from a global perspective (Global Leadership).<\/p>\n \u2022 Become leaders in the market (Market Leadership).<\/p>\n \u2022 Contributing to our environment through innovation (Shaping the Environment).<\/p>\n \u2022 Manages ambiguity and complexity.<\/p>\n \u2022 Build networks \u2013 effectively building formal and informal relationships networks inside and outside organization.<\/p>\n Additional information<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Primary location: Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n \u2022 Scope: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Mali and Cameroon.<\/p>\n \u2022 Travel: Yes, 30% of the time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" At MAXAM we work to offer our clients throughout the world a wide range of products and full technical support to respond to their most specific needs.
