Yara Ghana was established in 2007 to strengthen the quality and depth of input supply and related services along agricultural value chains to increase the productivity of Ghanaian farmers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yara Ghana is now looking for a Finance Controller to join it\u2019s team. The position will report to the CFO and will be located in Accra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key tasks will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports<\/li>\n<li>Support the annual business plan\/budgeting process<\/li>\n<li>Manage the year end audit<\/li>\n<li>Continually improve process and ensuring good financial controls are maintained at all times<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the operations of the business and the activities of other departments within the business for efficient<\/li>\n<li>and effective financial and cost management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure integrity of financial information by implementing and monitoring appropriate controls<\/li>\n<li>Develop currency exposure reports. Design and implement the hedging strategy<\/li>\n<li>Ensure strong balance sheet control<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate inventory controls are in place<\/li>\n<li>Accounts Receivable management<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for handling all matters related to tax. Prepare monthly cost analysis per cost centre and advice on variances to the budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Finance; post-graduate studies<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 4 years working experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably with experiences in controlling and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Strong accounting and financial knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ERP systems and Hyperion\/Reporting systems is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and at the same time good teamwork skills<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in an international operation or multinational is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply for the position, please go to <strong>www.yara.com\/positions<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yara is the world\u2019s leading mineral fertilizer company; the only one with a truly global presence and a permanent presence in Africa.
