The Communication and Marketing manager will be responsible for all aspects of continuing to build our brand and achieving our revenue targets. We\u2019re looking for someone who is equally strong on strategy and process, understands what agri-businesses need, and is passionate about the opportunity to work in a private sector tech company with huge potential for increased social impact and scale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Communications And Marketing Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing<\/p>\n<p>Location: Ghana<\/p>\n<p>Job Type: Full-time<\/p>\n<p>Travel: approx. 30%<\/p>\n<p>Start date: Immediately<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development and execution of Esoko\u2019s communications and marketing strategy<\/li>\n<li>Lead communication and marketing teams across Africa for performance, accountability, and employee satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Establish communications and marketing KPIs and effective processes to monitor performance and achieve the goals<\/li>\n<li>Effectively translate customer feedback for the Product teams<\/li>\n<li>Periodically conduct market research to better understand our competitive positioning and our brand, and identify and communicate market opportunities to the CEO<\/li>\n<li>Develop high level marketing and brand strategy in line with Esoko\u2019s strategic vision of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare pitches and conduct demonstrations to potential customers accurately and confidently<\/li>\n<li>Lead capacity building across the company to enhance the marketing skills of staff<\/li>\n<li>Lead cross-departmental efforts to prepare high quality proposals in response to tender documents as required<\/li>\n<li>Create marketing campaigns and initiatives that will drive increased revenue<\/li>\n<li>Align the organization internally around the brand and marketing objectives<\/li>\n<li>Leverage social media to grow Esoko\u2019s brand<\/li>\n<li>Seek out new promotional avenues to support revenue growth<\/li>\n<li>Represent Esoko at international development conferences as required<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior management on overall corporate strategy<\/li>\n<li>Act as a responsible steward of Esoko resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4-6 years sales and marketing experience in senior positions engaging in relationship-based sales<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; Master\u2019s preferred<\/li>\n<li>Creative, intellectually curious and an original thinker<\/li>\n<li>Process driven \u2013 the ends don\u2019t always justify the means for you<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative \u2013 data makes you giddy<\/li>\n<li>Empathetic leader \u2013 your EQ is as high as your IQ<\/li>\n<li>Driven \u2013 you live to close the deal<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about working in a business with strong social impact<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about innovative technology<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing teams in Africa strongly desired<\/li>\n<li>Have a consultative approach to problem solving for clients<\/li>\n<li>Born networker and salesperson<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak French is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Compensation and Benefits<\/li>\n<li>Highly competitive salary<\/li>\n<li>Medical coverage for employee and three dependents<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work schedule<\/li>\n<li>Professional development allowance<\/li>\n<li>Access to company car<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We actively promote diversity, creativity, and professionalism in the workplace.
