The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Senior Maintenance Planner reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, will lead the fixed plant maintenance planning section of the Processing Department at the Central Ashanti Gold Project, located near Ayanfuri<\/p>\n<p><strong>The responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Manage the Maintenance planning function to ensure that the work scheduling process is being performed and meeting targeted KPIs<br \/>\nPlan all major Shutdown tasks<br \/>\nPrepare forecast of major component change outs according to the equipment maintenance strategies<br \/>\nMaximise preventative maintenance system of work whilst minimise unplanned breakdown maintenance, by effective use of the Maintenance Management System (Pronto) and condition monitoring<br \/>\nReview work order history to optimise component change out intervals<br \/>\nAssist in developing budget plans consistent with operational goals<br \/>\nMinimising maintenance costs, whilst maintaining\/exceeding mill availability KPI<br \/>\nThe position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will have 7 years professional work experience in fixed plant maintenance of large-scale gold processing operations with at least 5 years recent experience in a similar role, experience of using Maintenance Management Systems, and<br \/>\nDegree in Mechanical engineering from an accredited university.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
