In reporting to the Manager, the Chief Domestic Bursar will be responsible for the following, among others<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Domestic Bursar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The operations of the restaurant, kitchen, front office and housekeeping<\/li>\n<li>The sustainability and development of profitable business opportunities i.e. monitoring the performance of every staff; training of staff; planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities; ensuring that all operational and safety procedures are properly followed; assisting in the execution of the Centre\u2019s strategic plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration Package<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attractive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a bachelor\u2019s degree or its equivalent in either Hotel Catering or Hospitality Management with, at least, 11 years\u2019 post-qualification experience. Additional qualifications in hospitality management will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Have substantial experience of leading and managing teams as well as customer housekeeping problems<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work under intense pressure<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in detail .<\/li>\n<li>Have evidence of contributing positively to the financial success of an organization<\/li>\n<li>Have a flexible approach to work, in terms of responding to changing or unforeseen circumstances and being willing to work outside regular hours as the need arises<\/li>\n<li>Show clear evidence of ability to hold a schedule\/ schedules without supervision<\/li>\n<li>Be knowledgeable in nutrition, food and beverage trends within the hospitality industry<\/li>\n<li>Have strong written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Be computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Have good leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to work in all other operational sections of the Centre<\/li>\n<li>Have basic accounting skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants are required to submit:<br \/>\nAn application letter.<br \/>\nA completed application form for employment.<br \/>\nCurriculum vitae with names and addresses of three (3) referees.<br \/>\nApplication blanks may be downloaded from the University&#8217;s website: <strong>www.ug.edu.gh\/hrodd.<\/strong><br \/>\nCompleted application dossier should be returned to the:<br \/>\n<strong>Director HRODD, University of Ghana P.O.
