Reporting to the Resident Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n
Ensure that safe and conducive environment prevails within and around all work areas
\nAssist in the formulation of Safety policies, rules and regulations
\nConduct induction on safety training for new employees
\nMonitor and ensure that safety equipment are in good conditions are provided at all predetermined locations
\nEnsure that each employee acquires adequate knowledge of the locations, intended purpose(s) and operational skills required for the use of safety wears\/equipment provided
\nEnsure adherence to the project site safety rules and regulations
\nMonitor application of safety standards on regular basis and periodically review existing safety rules, regulations and standards
\nEnsure that the Contractor complies with Security\/Safety regulations in the conduct of its activities
\nMake adequate arrangements to ensure that the Contractor’s safety\/security plan adheres to the National Fire Protection and Prevention Regulations<\/p>\n
