With guidance from partners, directors and senior managers, you\u2019ll identify potential business opportunities for Ernst &amp; Young. By drawing on your skills and experience, you\u2019ll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ll actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives. In line with our commitment to quality, you\u2019ll consistently drive projects to completion and confirm that work is of a high quality. Your role in leading teams \u2013 or parts of teams \u2013 on engagements will depend on the size of engagement. When working on engagements, you\u2019ll report to higher levels of management, who will expect you to anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate.<br \/>\nAs an influential member of the team, you\u2019ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Client responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in Finance engagements<\/li>\n<li>Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders<\/li>\n<li>Participate in business development initiatives<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\">Build strong internal relationships within Ernst &amp; Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\"><b>People responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff<\/li>\n<li>Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Education and Certification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Technical skills requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finance transformation<\/li>\n<li>Balanced scorecard<\/li>\n<li>Planning, budgeting and forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Performance measurement and performance management<\/li>\n<li>Business performance reporting<\/li>\n<li>Financial statement close process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should also have knowledge in Government and Public Sector and understand particularly Government of Ghana processes.<\/p>\n<p><b>Additional requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization and\/or blue chip organization<\/li>\n<li>Professional accountancy qualification, i.e. \u00a0ACCA, CA or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic record including a degree<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in business development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transactions and advisory services.
