Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to create and develop new and ongoing business relationships with our individual, and business client’s senior managers, technical supervisors, engineers and technicians to reduce their cost and risk of owning and maintaining wire and fencing products – with our unique, patented RIPPER Razor Coils, Stainless Fencing Products, ABB Merlin Electric Barrier and Wire Chain Link Fencing. \nListening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
\nMaintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
\nArranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
\nActing as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
\nNegotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales; gathering market and customer information
\nRepresenting the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
\nNegotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
\nChallenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
\nAdvising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
\nLiaising with production unit to check the progress of existing orders
\nChecking quantities of goods on display and in stocks
\nRecording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
\nReviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
\nGaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
\nMaking accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
\nFeeding future buying trends back to employers
\nAttending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues<\/p>\n
\nThe Compensation Package includes salary (based on experience and commissions (no cap)<\/p>\n
\nA two year post experience in a manufacturing and\/or sales environment will be an added advantage
