It exists to make God\u2019s Word available and affordable and encourage its use.<\/p>\n<p>The Bible Society of Ghana is an affiliate member of the United Bible Societies, operating in 200 countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Translators (3 Post)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bible Society of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons on contract for its Bono Translation Project.<\/p>\n<p>The position is a full-time job and successful applicants will be required to stay in the Brong Ahafo for the duration of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The successful applicants will work as a team and will be responsible for producing an accurate, faithful and meaningful translation of the Bible into the Bono language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Applicants Must Have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Theology with specialization in Biblical Studies;<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic (added advantage);<\/li>\n<li>Experience in translation work;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Bono language and should be a native speaker<\/li>\n<li>Bono linguistics,<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak and write Bono;<\/li>\n<li>Strong Christian Commitment with good standing in Church and Community;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to relate to people at all levels;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer software programmes; (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and familiarity with email and the Internet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Application letters and other supporting documents should reach the address or e-mail below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Admin &amp; HR Manager The Bible Society of Ghana P.O.Box GP 761,Accra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Email:<strong> jobs@biblesociety-ghana.org<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bible Society of Ghana is a non\u2013denominational Christian organization registered under the Trustees Act, 1962 of the Republic of Ghana.
